How are you different from other DJs?
I have many years of entertainment experience…Not only have I been a professional DJ since 1985…I have also performed Stand Up Comedy in nightclubs throughout Illinois, Acted & Participated in Theatrical Events, and performed with three orchestras as their Principle Violist.
My entertainment experience is a gift that I love to share and will always keep refining. I work & teach with other Mobile, Radio & Nightclub DJs to help keep my skills refined. I also work & teach with local improvisational groups from two universities, dance & vocal instructors, event coordinators and many musicians.

What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
This is some what of a trick question. I know of no organization that certifies a DJ to be a great performer. There are a number of trade organizations that “encourage” DJs to act & perform with the utmost integrity. However, there is no degree or certification that I know of, that states…If the DJ has this certificate, or has “x” amount of hours in this performance field…that they are guaranteed to be a Good DJ.
I can’t stress this point enough! For my qualifications, I’ve been in the DJ Business since 1985 and it is a Full Time Profession. I went to I.S.U. on a scholarship as a music performance & music business major. I continue to train and enhance my skills daily, and I help and advise many DJs both locally & nationally.
You need to be careful when hiring your DJ because they are not all the same. In fact, there are more amateurs than professionals. At the very least look for the personality that is a good fit for you.Back to Index
What is your standard attire?
My attire is always appropriate, and will reflect the theme of your event. I can dress in Formal Attire, Suit & Tie or a themed outfit to match with your guests.Back to Index

Yes!! If you need me to be your MC, it is no problem. I am more than just DJ…It is my responsibility to charm & delight your guests. Understanding how important your event is to you, is key to make it successful. I am uniquely equipped to create an atmosphere of fun & excitement so that you & your guests have nothing but wonderful moments to remember for years to come. Do you take requests?

Can I provide my own music?
Yes. I try to have every song that is requested. Sometimes there are songs that are not easy to obtain because they are out of print. However, if you have a copy of a certain request, I would be more than happy to play it for you & your guests.Back to Index
Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure?
Yes!! My standard setup features two of everything. Back-Up equipment is always included and ready to go. You can rest assured that there will be no technical difficulties of any kind. No down time.
In my line of work, you can’t go back and do that special moment over again…It has to be perfect the first time…And with me working behind the scenes, fail-safes are in place…Every moment will be flawless and go off without a hitch.

What are your hourly rates?
For the Premium Packages there is no hourly charge. There are no hidden fees, unexpected gratuity and tax is always included.Back to Index
